Dr Hannah Chavasse BA MPhil PhD
Hannah studied History of Art and Architecture at Cambridge before completing her PhD thesis on the material culture of the late eighteenth-century British country house. She has worked for a private consultancy specialising in conservation area appraisals, and as a trainee architectural investigator at English Heritage. She has also catalogued architectural drawings for the V&A, whilst her PhD research informs the curatorial display of the principle rooms at Audley End, Essex. Maintaining a specialist interest in country houses, Hannah has worked on buildings ranging from cottages to factory workshops and motorway service stations.
